Who is this.. An over talked talk

Amid much talked reaction of Tennis ace player Maria Sharapova over acquaintance with the God of Cricket, this post is dedicated to shun off the shrill criticism she is receiving. All of a sudden, thanks to media and online social communities; web pages and news were flooded with trolls and memes of #whoismariasharapova. What is wrong? Why there is such an outrage for this oblivion to Sachin Tendulkar?
Without any shadow of doubt, cricket is more than a religion in India. It has a huge fan following, however the rampant rage is not accepted. How many Indian star players must be knowing about the legendary US players of Ice Hockey? or Baseball? The answers would be handful, if you are fortunate. Passion for Cricket, Sachin Tendulkar in India is immeasurable. Sachin has stopped the heartbeats as many times as he had flicked his most mesmerizing cover drive shot or hook. Irrespective of  fervor, love; nothing adds up for such a lambasting that has spread wide out.

How many sport stars from different sports come to watch cricket? Barely any! Tennis is globally accepted sport, whereas Cricket not. Tennis is played in Olympics, again cricket isn't. How many nations play cricket? How many stadiums have been created of heights and breadth as for soccer? Maris's a Russian, and plays tennis. Any other point left?

No sin or a heinous crime has been committed by admitting of not knowing the Living cricket Legend. There won't be an iota of reduction in his fame, honor that has been earned by him.
Give this a break.
